Caricature: Bill

There are too many stories surrounding these drawings to mention. The short version is this: In high school I had a friend – we referred to him as Bill – who had the ability to become very animated at times. For me he was the perfect person to caricaturize because as friends I could “get away with it.”

If I were to go through my old school books I would find possibly hundreds of these little drawings scattered through my notes. Every event of our lives made its way into a cartoon sketch back then. The drawings included here are just a few. They’re full of inside jokes that won’t make sense to anyone other than us.

Sadly I have lost contact with him. “Bill,” if you ever find this page please say hi!
