Social Commentary Dragon

I drew this in high school with a very specific series of thoughts targeting my dislike for things like television, smoking, alcohol and how one could allow these elements to disrupt their lifestyle. I make reference to this belief by showing family photos on the crumbling walls with forgotten faces (totally absent); the alcohol is represented as venom with a used glass in the background; the cigarettes are ugly and plentiful; the wilted beauty of the flower that sits on the emptiness of the television; dead flies and dirt accumulate on the floor; the broken doorway that seems too small to escape through; and the person is represented as a devoid, angry, over-sized dragon of a person.
